The Mt John Homestead and its surrounds offer many options for whatever your occasion.  It is located on the outskirts of Lake Tekapo village and has stood fast through many changes to the area, from the pioneering farmers of the early 1900's, right through to the current development of Lake Tekapo as a tourist destination.

The refurbished homestead has beautiful exposed rimu floors throughout and an original collection of art and photography by a local artists. The surrounding grounds and buildings are a fabulous setting for any occasion.

 

 

Price List(includes GST) 

 

Homestead Wedding (Check in 10am on day 1, check out 4pm on day 3).                                                                   $2,100   

This includes approximately 30 chairs and 4 trestle tables. Accommodation for 13 people

 and use of the grounds for event if required. Photos on Balmoral or Mt John.

$400 bond upon confirmation, refunded following event provided no damage or noise issues.

Also refundable if 2 months cancellation notice is given. Full payment due 48hours before event.

Extra nights $250/night.

Price is per night for up to 6 people. Extra people are $25/pp/night. Includes all linen.

Includes use of kitchen and 1 toilet, 10am to 8pm.                                                     Small groups  (less than 50)          $500 

Large groups must hire portaloos.                                                                           Large Groups (more than 50)         $800
