The Studio Hut is about delighting in simplicity; a king bed, a crackling fire, a kitchen and sweeping mountain views. Modelled off the historic Red Hut, this little abode offers the original high country experience.

The Red Hut is our refurbished musterer’s quarters; the original Studio Hut. Combining history with modern design, this quirky little dwelling will give you a stay you’ll never forget.
LEARN MOREWe have one Four Square grocery store in town, which is open from 8am-8pm. This is smaller than your standard city supermarket, but has all the essentials.
The Cairns office hours are from 9am to 5pm, with late check-ins to be organised in advance.
There is no doctor's surgery or pharmacy in Lake Tekapo. The nearest hospital is about 1 hour 20 minutes away.
